Instructions:
In this assignment, your team will identify the barriers that your patient has (or potentially could have) to accessing exceptional health care.

Your team will identify strategies your patient could use to overcome the barriers, and what we, as a society should do to help your patient receive necessary health care.

Finally, your team will examine the impact the Affordable Care Act (ACA) has on your patient’s health care.

Submit the document to the dropbox in WORD format.

• Identify the barriers your patient has (or could potentially have) to accessing excellent health care.
• Left justify the title of each barrier in bold and write at least one full paragraph describing the barrier, how it impacts (or could impact) your patient and how difficult it would be for your patient to overcome the barrier.
• Describe strategies your patient could use to overcome the barrier or reasons that it would not be possible for your patient to gain access to adequate health care.
• Describe what we, as a society, should do to make it possible for your patient to receive quality health care services.
• Finally, write one paragraph that describes in detail how the Affordable Care Act (ACA) impacts your patients care.

The document should contain an introduction and conclusion, be at least three full pages in length (not including references and/or title page), double-spaced, and contain at least four scholarly, peer-reviewed sources in APA format. The document must contain a title page in APA format, in-text citations, and a reference page in APA format. See the rubric for more information.

• Detailed description of how this legislation impacts care.
• Benefits of the ACA in regards to our patient.
• Negative impacts on our patient as a result of the ACA.
• How national health care policy should be revised to better care for our patient.
